In addition to the non-profits and schools above, your Credit Union has also donated to and sponsored:

ICU DAY

International Credit Union (ICU) Day has been celebrated annually since 1948. It’s a time where we celebrate the Credit Union movement of People Helping People.

In 2021, the theme was: Building Financial Health for a Brighter Tomorrow. Since October is also Domestic Violence Awareness month, Ravalli County Federal Credit Union partnered with SAFE. Staff members were assigned shifts to volunteer at the SAFE facility, helping to prepare their greenhouse and raised beds for the winter months. Staff also put together a picnic table, assembled “thank you” floral arrangements and delivered them to local businesses that participated in White Ribbon week.

PEOPLE HELPING PEOPLE

Here at Ravalli County Federal Credit Union we encourage our staff to volunteer and support our local community. Many of them spend their free time volunteering with local organizations such as Kiwanis, Rotary Club, the Humane Society and more.

BETTER FUTURE, BETTER LIFE

VITA

THANKSGIVING/GIVING TREE

One of our favorite holidays here at Ravalli County Credit Union is Thanksgiving. It’s a time where we collaborate with our member to provide turkey dinners for local families in need. Each November we set up our “Giving Tree”, complete with fall décor and thanksgiving shopping lists. Our shopping list request all canned/box food needed to provide a traditional thanksgiving meal. Prior to Turkey Day, the Credit Union purchases all turkeys and any missing basket items.

In 2021 we donated 74 turkeys and collected/purchased items for Thanksgiving baskets. 44 of the recipients were Head Start families and 30 were members of the Credit Union!
